For Immediate Release: CSA York County to Begin in 2021

Charlotte Soccer Academy is pleased to announce the extension of their brand further into South Carolina, starting a new program in York County in the Fort Mill/Rock Hill area. CSA York County will begin in the 2021-2022 season.

Based on feedback received from soccer families and coaches in the area, along with the positive responses received through enquiries for potential programs, CSA has decided to take on this opportunity to expand the CSA brand.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our club, and for soccer players in the York County area,” states Executive Director, Brad Wylde. “We have many South Carolina residents that currently play in our club at the Palisades, Pineville and Uptown locations. We feel this could be an opportunity for them to be closer to home and also to expand the brand of our organization into an area that continues to grow and prosper in youth soccer. CSA has developed a great relationship over the years with the City of Rock Hill utilizing Manchester Meadows for tournaments. We are excited about future opportunities to work with them to utilize additional fields in and around the area to provide a platform within the Rock Hill, York County and Fort Mill area offering programming for the 2021-22 season.”

CSA’s goal is to offer all levels of competitive play starting at the Youth Academy program level at 9U through 18/19U for boys and girls. This new program will begin with tryouts in May, forming teams to start play in the fall 2021-2022 season. More information about the tryout calendar will be posted on the CSA club website and social media platforms in the coming weeks.

CSA York County will be another great extension of the club’s organizational structure. This addition will help solidify the CSA mission to be one of the strongest full-service soccer organizations in the country. CSA is currently interviewing candidates for coaching positions and has a short list for the Director of Coaching for this new section. Announcements will be made prior to the New Year. CSA York County will initially combine with CSA’s current Palisades/Palmetto division for the fall 2021 season. Training and games for teams will be at various fields in the York County area including CSA’s own facility, the Harris Teeter complex at the Palisades.
